Our Vision is for Juniata County to be a Safe and Strong Community

The Juniata County Prevention Board’s vision is for Juniata County to be a safe, healthy and strong community. Our board is made up of members from a variety of backgrounds, including law enforcement, health care, faith-based organizations, civic groups, parents, youth, schools, local agencies and business partners. Together we use a data-driven approach to determine both the strengths and the challenges among the youth living in Juniata County. Using this information, the Prevention Board has been able to provide programs, events and curriculum with our schools and throughout the community.
