District Court Secretary
The 41st Judicial District has an opening for a Secretary at magisterial district court 41-3-01 located in Mifflintown. This position is classified as full-time and is a union position. Wages are $11.66/hour with benefits.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Ability to effectively communicate with judges, attorneys, and members of the public is required. Secretarial experience is preferred. Successful candidate must possess a Pennsylvania Criminal History Record Check and Child Abuse History Clearance less than one (1) year old.
Duties and Responsibilities: Assist the Magisterial District Judge with any and all secretarial duties. Job duties vary from answering phone calls, receiving payments, scheduling hearings, and entering cases to organizing files, completing daily deposits, reconciling bank statements, and printing reports needed for each month.
