Clerical/Field Assessor, Full-Time
The Juniata County Assessment Department has an opening for a Clerical/ Field Assessor. This position is classified as full-time and union. Wages are $12.42 per hour with benefits.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Special consideration given for persons with a valid Certified Pennsylvania Evaluator License (CPE). In the absence of a CPE, successful candidate will be required to obtain full certification within three years of employment. Must have a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license; and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of software especially Excel, Word and Access preferred. Successful candidate must possess a Pennsylvania Criminal History Record Check and Child Abuse History Clearance less than one (1) year old.
Duties and Responsibilities: Provide customer service to the taxpayers, legal professionals, and other individuals via telephone and in person. Maintain various types of property and ownership change files, both physical and electronic. Prepare documents for notification to taxpayers and other individuals regarding assessments. Process property transfers, parcel splits, and other standard assessment actions; and update records to reflect changes. Perform and/or assist with property assessment field work as needed.

EARLY INTERVENTION COORDINATOR
Juniata Valley Behavioral & Developmental Services has an immediate opening for an Early Intervention Coordinator. This is a career opportunity in a three county program providing direct services to consumers Birth to Age 3 in Huntingdon, Mifflin and Juniata Counties.
Responsibilities include plan, administer, analyze, develop, evaluate, monitor and coordinate county Early Intervention social services programs, program objectives, policies, procedures, regulations and ongoing operations of organizational segments of county agencies. Represent the Early Intervention health field in community collaborative initiatives to include participation in various boards and committees. Assist with preparations of needed reports, budgets and contracts. Travel will be required.
