Directions to the Sheriff’s Office: Take Route 322 to the Mifflintown Exit and travel south on Route 35 approximately 2.2 miles. Turn right at the red light and the Sheriff’s Office is up one block on the left in the Bousum Building.

The Sheriff’s Office is an organization of men and women dedicated to protecting and serving the citizens of Juniata County.

The Sheriff’s Office is comprised of the Sheriff and several full-time and part-time deputies.

The Sheriff’s Office has many duties and responsibilities which include enforcing the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, investigating crimes, handling complaints, testifying in court, carrying out court orders and judgments and assisting emergency personnel when needed.

The Sheriff is elected for a four-year term of office. The next election for Sheriff will take place in 2025.
